Under the background of the upcoming Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC, for further in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics For a New Era, reinforcement of the party history learning and education, and improvement of theoretical attainments and political stances of all employees, and in combination with the party building work at the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China Security & Protection Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), the Company successfully held the “Special Training Course on In-depth Study and Implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics For a New Era and Party History Learning and Education” in the Institute of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics For a New Era Peking University.
The solemn and heated opening ceremony marked the commencement of the training. In the first session of the training, Sun Laibin, Secretary of the Party Committee and renowned professor from School of Marxism Peking University, gave the impressed lecture titled the World View and Methodology on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to the trainees. He guided the trainees to macroscopically seize the content of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era from the overall knowledge of the scientific theory system, deep understanding of “two integrations”, and focused grasping of “six principles on which China must remain steadfast” progressively. Prof. Sun spelled out the scientific and systematic implications of this thought as the Marxism in Contemporary China and the 21st Century and its guiding position in the new era, illustrated the significance of “integrating the basic tenets of Marxism with China's specific realities and fine traditional culture”, and deeply analyzed the core points of “six principles on which China must remain steadfast”.
The second session was provided by professor Zhao Lei, deputy dean from the Institute for International Strategic Studies at Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C. Around the theme of the Study and Implementation of the Overall National Security Concept, his presentation included three interlocking parts: “National security is the bedrock of national rejuvenation”, “coordinated development and security”, and “modernizing China's national security system and capacity”. He emphasized that safeguarding national security is an important guarantee for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, analyzed the complex and varying domestic and external security situation, defined the significance of coordinated development and security, and systematically elaborated the paths and measures for modernizing China's national security system and capacity.
During the training course, the management of the head office and leaders from subsidiaries and branches were concentrated and earnestly listened to the course content, actively interacted with the lecturers, and exhibited high enthusiasms for learning and exciting learning atmosphere. They gained a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and overall national security concept.
